HEADSHOTS AND PORTRAITS

Collage of five diverse professionals, three women and two men, in different indoor settings, all looking at the camera with friendly expressions.

Headshots

In addition to shooting executive headshots on location, every month or so I set up a weekend for individuals who are seeking a new headshot for LinkedIn for their job search, a new job’s staff page, an author photo, etc. (Yes, some people do use them for dating apps, too.) These are shorter and less formal sessions than what I usually do, but with the same level of attention to lighting and image retouching.

I offer three headshot packages:

  1. 15-20 min = 1 background & lighting setup, 1 final image that you choose: $275

  2. 20-30 min = 2 setups, 2 final images: $375

  3. 30-45 minutes = 3 setups, 3 final images: $475

Portraits

I also offer portrait sessions. What’s the difference?

A headshot is about looking ultra-professional and attractive — the “best you” that you can look, as my client Sondre says below. To me, portraits are art. They’re worth framing and hanging on a wall. They’re more about capturing who someone really is in a different way, maybe it’s being silly or pensive or steely.

This is a bespoke process that requires more time, for you to relax and open up in front of the camera, and for me to get to know you. Portrait sessions are a minimum of one hour, usually longer, with lighting setups customized for you. I can also come to you to capture you (or your loved one) in your home, studio, or out in the wild somewhere.

An older man with a beard and glasses, wearing a denim shirt, tilts his head back as a baseball cap floats above his face against a black background.
A man lying in bed, wearing a dark blue robe,, reading a book with a puzzled or suspicious expression. The room has beige dotted wallpaper, a wooden headboard, a lamp, and framed artwork of a woman flying through the sky with stars and a crescent moon.
